Keeping the Pantry full

March 12, 2026 Ken Luebbering

Grace parishioners have been very generous in supporting our food ministries, including Josie’s Pantry.  However, it only helps those we seek to serve if the food is in the pantry rather than in boxes inside Grace. In short, we need a way to fill the pantry regularly to be of most help to our neighbors.

We would like to set up a weekly rotation for stocking the pantry. By having individuals assigned to specific days each week, we could arrange our efforts to keep food in the pantry more consistently.

If you could make a commitment to stock the pantry on a particular day or days each week, please email Ken Luebbering (kenluebbering@gmail.com) to let him know of your availability.  Ideally, we’d like to have the pantry stocked each morning and afternoon, so volunteer for multiple times if you can, although you don't need to take two shifts on the same day. If you work regular hours, coming by after work to stock the pantry for the evening would still be very helpful especially as the days get longer.
