The Community Ministry Committee has a budget of $10,000 which we use to donate funds to worthy organizations. $1,000 was donated to the Sierra Leone Association Scholarship Fund which goes towards scholarship for High School students in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Locally, we gave $1,000 to the Salvation Army to assist them with housing and feeding the unhoused.

Another $1,000 was donated to the Samaritan Center to help with feeding those people who need assistance with feeding their families.

$1,500 was donated for Josie’s Pantry.

Common Ground received $2,000. Their mission is to assist people with short-term financial help with their utility bills (water, sewer and electric) and rent deposits. Money also goes toward gas vouchers to assist people with getting to medical appointments and employment interviews and/or their first week of employment.  Several parishioners contribute their time as receptionists and work in Common Ground's vegetable garden. Deacon Paula has a regular presence there.
