Hospitality

Coffee Hour provides an opportunity for fellowship by providing a light snack following the 10:30 service downstairs in the Parish Hall. We are observing social distancing, remaining masked when not eating or drinking and serving individually wrapped snacks. Hosted each week September through May by members of the parish family, all ages are welcome to share conversation and fellowship.

Funeral Meals and Receptions

Grace Church members help facilitate funeral meals, according to the wishes of the family.  Volunteers help with setting up and cleaning up the parish hall; make and serve coffee, tea, etc; prepare and serve side dishes.

Meals for Home Delivery

Based upon needs identified through pastoral care, volunteers provide and deliver meals to parishioners during illness or recovery from surgery.

Transportation of Fellow Parishioners

Volunteer parish members provide occasional assistance driving other Grace Church members to doctor’s appointments or to medical services.

Annual Salvation Army Picnic

On the 3rd Sunday in September, the Grace family prepares, serves, and shares a picnic meal with residents of the Salvation Army Center of Hope and people from the center neighborhood. Live music is provided by members of the parish.
